Right now, the biggest thing I like about Free! s2 is the fact that Rin’s personality is more in line to how he was as a kid. In season 1, I thought it was weird how Rin was ridiculously gregarious as a kid but there’s not much indication of that as a teenager.
It’s nice that they rectified that a bit, even if the show sacrifices the screen time of the other guys.

I didn’t think this would happen.

Whenever I see a manga artist draw like this, I always think that I don’t mind reading manga drawn this way.

Anonymous asked: i'm not sure what's happening in the future chapters since i'm still waiting for the english translations and i saw you mention something about missing sera? did he get transferred or something!?

No, nothing like that. It’s just that GK has a big cast and screentime will never be equal. Except for the really popular characters, the cast tends to rotate in terms of dialogue and action. I’m just the dork who notices who’s missing because ETU is lovable and Sera is hilarious whenever he has one of those “what-about-me?” moments.

This was made for me, lol. I totally checked the afterword first to see what Arakawa drew.
I got to love the fact that what she drew was totally appropriate for the book.

After reading this, I dedicate this song to Harmony Gold and their Robotech Academy Kickstarter. It sounds like Harmony Gold just wants to start some new idea and leave it open-ended so that they have something to dangle in front of fans after a few years (again).

Thank goodness I’m content with Robotech after reading The End of the Circle. I salute all the people who still support HG’s endeavors to this day because I just couldn’t after all these years.

Asiaweek’s cover for their January 5, 1996 issue. Never thought I’d see this again. I wonder if anyone still has an actual copy of this issue.
It’s nice to know that the cover story is still available to read:

Such a conflicting bunch. The X-Laws are charismatic enough to be protagonists. However, in Shaman King, the morality of what they are trying to do is questioned because their objective is vastly different from Yoh’s.
